We are embracing change by installing photovoltaic (PV) panels to self-supply our factory. With a capacity of 60 kW, the company falls within a medium consumption profile, aiming for a more efficient and eco-friendly approach.

The solar panels are installed on the factory's rooftop, without occupying natural spaces or local areas, thus promoting a cleaner environment.

Thanks to this upgrade, clean energy is already being generated, reducing our carbon footprint while also achieving significant cost savings, a benefit for both the company and the planet. This change helps minimize CO2 emissions with the goal of reducing environmental impact.

Plàstics Torner is aligning with the sustainability trend in the industry by choosing solar energy, a clean power source that complements the biodegradable and compostable products we have been committed to in recent years, which now represent over 80% of our production.
